Private Classes FAQ

Q:        What is a private class?

A:         A private class is an event where a host invites at least 5 friends to participate in a class with him / her. 

Q:        Are there different types of Private Classes?

A:         Yes!  There are Product-Based Classes, Kit Classes, and Fee-Based Classes – similar to classes I currently offer.

Q:        How is a Private Class different from a regular class?

A:         The main difference is the host is inviting class members and collecting the fees for the class.  Location can be wherever the host prefers, including my studio and online with Zoom. 

Q:        I don’t live close to you.  Can I do an online Private Class?

A:         Definitely!  This especially works well with the all-inclusive kits as each class member will have everything needed to complete the projects.  We can Zoom, create a Facebook room, a private event on Facebook with the group, or even include pre-recorded videos. 

Q:        What’s included in a Product-Based Private Class? 

  

A:         A Product-Based Private Class includes:

·         Host is guaranteed at least $15 in host benefits.

·         Host will receive graphics to share on invites.

·         Class fee is due 10 days before the class for all participants.

o    Host is responsible to collect class fees and submit payment.

·         Each class member will receive a class kit, instructions, and products (plus the extras) to use in the class. 

·         If a class member is unable to attend, he/she will receive the items above from the host.

Q:        What’s included in a Fee-Based Private Class?       

   

A:         A Fee-Based Private Class includes:

·         Host will receive graphics to share on invites.

·         Class fee is usually $15 - $20 or free with a minimum order.

o    If a class member submits a minimum order, then the amount paid in class fees will be subtracted from the total amount due.

·         Class fee is due 3 days before the class for all participants.

o    Host is responsible to collect class fees and submit payment.

·         Each class member will receive a class kit and instructions.

·         If a class member is unable to attend, he/she will receive the class kit from the host.

Q:        What’s included in a Kit Private Class? 

         

A:         A Kit Private Class includes:

·         Host is guaranteed at least $15 in host benefits for all-inclusive kits with the host and 5 friends participating.

·         Host will receive graphics to share on invites.

·         Class fee is due 10 days before the class for all participants.

o    Host is responsible to collect class fees and submit payment.

·         Each class member will receive the kit to use in the class. 

·         If a class member is unable to attend, he/she will receive the kit from the host.

·         A great long-distance class to get multiple people together from around the United States.

Q:        How do I book a Private Class?  

       

A:         Contact me - email, text, Facebook Message, or the contact form on the blog.

Q:        Do I have to use the monthly Private Class or can I choose something different?    

A:         You can always request a kit class when booking. If you would like to do something different than what is offered, I will need one week to design and price the class.
