Seriously - I appreciate those gorgeous cards with all sorts of stuff and techniques. Those are some pretty spectacular designers!
But........
I get exhausted looking at all the stuff you have to do to make ONE card. WHEW!
I LOVE to create simple and beautiful cards.
Here is one that I really love. Not a lot of supplies and super cute!
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets – Cookie Cutter Christmas (142043)
- Card Stock – Crumb Cake (120953), Be Merry Designer Series Paper (144111)
- Stamp Pads – Chocolate Chip (126979), Brights Markers (131259), Neutrals Markers (131261), Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (141897)
- Misc. – Metallic Foil Doilies (138392), Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (140396)
Measurements:
- Crumb Cake: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”; scrap for deer
- Be Merry DSP: 5 ½” x 2”
Instructions:
- Stamp the deer onto scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock. Color in his antler with Chocolate Chip marker, and his nose with the Real Red Marker.
- Color over his antlers with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
- Punch out deer.
- Assemble your card as shown – note, the doily is placed with the metallic side down. (the delicate white doilies could also be used)
- Stamp your sentiment using Chocolate Chip ink.
