You Make Me Smile!

Whew!  It's been a HOT week!

For Kentucky, it's not that unusual to be in the 80's in September. 

But Iowa?  That's another story! 

I grew up in Iowa and September was usually 70's and by the end of September, 60's.  They have had Kentucky weather this week!

So, I thought this project would be the best right now.  :)

Supplies:

• Stamps: Colorful Seasons Bundle (145348)
• Ink:  Old Olive stamp pad (126953), Daffodil Delight stamp pad (126944)
• Cardstock:  Old Olive (100702) , Whisper White (100730) , Daffodil Delight Cardstock (119683), Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack (144193)
• Misc:  Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon (144234), Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon (144116), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Foam Adhesive Strips (141825)   

Measurements:

• Whisper White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base; scrap for drinks
• Color Theory DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Daffodil Delight:  2 x 2 1/2"
• Old Olive: 2" x 2 1/2"

Instructions:

1. Add 6" of both ribbons to the front of the DSP with the ends adhered to the back.
2. Stamp  'You make me smile." with Old Olive stamp pad on top of DSP.
3. Using the chair die, cut two ~ one in Daffodil Delight, one in Old Olive.  Adhere to the card using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
4. Stamp drinks on Whisper White scraps and cut out with the drink die.  Adhere with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
5. Adhere the decorative DSP panel to the base card using Foam Adhesive Strips.

Golden Christmas Wreath

Instructions:

1. Adhere 4” x 4” piece of plaid DSP to the front of card as shown.
2. Punch a 2” circle from Whisper White CS and adhere to the center of the plaid DSP.
3. Use the Leaf Punch and punch 4 leaf clusters from Champagne & Gold Foil and Gold Glimmer & Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer papers.
4. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere leaf clusters around the edge of the 2” circle in alternating colors as shown.
5. Add a piece of the Year of Cheer (thin) Washi Tape across front of card as shown.
6. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink and emboss in Gold Embossing Powder with the Heat Tool.
7. Cut a 10” piece of Silver 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon and tie a bow to adhere to the top of the wreath.
8. Add Gold Metallic Elements to finish off the card.

Instructions:

1. Attach the Dapper Denim layer and designer paper layers to the Very Vanilla card base.
2. Using the Big Shot, cut the scalloped square framelit from the square of Dapper Denim cardstock.
3. Stamp the candles with Basic Black ink onto the square of Shimmery White cardstock and then add the greeting below that image.
4. Using Lemon Lime Twist and Dapper Denim inks, stamp the candle images as shown.
5. Add the color to the flame of the candles using So Saffron ink.
6. Using the Big Shot, cut the stitched square from the Shimmery White square.
7. Attach this layer to the Dapper Denim scalloped square and then to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
8. Tie a bow with the ribbon and attach it to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
9. Go over the flames with Clear Wink of Stella to give them a glittery finish.
