Every Party Needs a Hat!

It's just not a birthday party without the cute little hats, right?

The new stamp set Celebrate You has that for you!  Some really great fonts for the sentiments.  Yes, I'm a font junkie.  Almost as bad as my stamp habit.  :)

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets – Celebrate You (143775-w or 143778-c)
• Card Stock – Whisper White (100730), Emerald Envy (141415), Crumb Cake (120953), Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper (144110)
• Stamp Pads – Crumb Cake (126975), Emerald Envy (141396)
• Misc. –   Banner Triple Punch (138292), Liquid Multipurpose Glue (110755), Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine (141682), Paper Snips (103579), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements: 

• Basic Black: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
• Crumb Cake: 4 x 5-1/4
• Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper: 1 x 3-1/2 & 1-1/2 x 4
• Whisper White: scrap

Instructions:

1. Stamp HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake layer as shown.
2. Punch the ends of the Designer Series Paper strips with Banner Triple Punch and adhere to card front.
3. Wrap Baker's Twine around Crumb Cake layer three times - tie in a knot.
4. Stamp hat image in Emerald Envy ink on Whisper White scrap and cut out with Paper Snips.
5. Adhere hat to card front with dimensionals.

You DAZZLE Me!

Have you checked out the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper yet?  I am so drawn to this paper.  It makes me feel happy!  :)

Today's project is a card using that paper and the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set.

And since the sentiment is "dazzling", I just had to use all sorts of bling.  Three different kinds, in fact!

• Misc. – Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper (DSP)  (144110); Glitter Enamel Dots (144200); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (141897); Dimensionals (104430); Banner Triple Punch (138292)

Measurements:  

• Whisper White Thick:           8½” x 5½”; score at 4¼”                 
• Basic Black:                        4” x 5¼”         1½” x 4”
• Daffodil Delight:                   1¼” x 4”                                
• Whole Lot of Lovely DSP:    3¾” x 5”                    

Instructions:

1. Adhere Basic Black and DSP onto Whisper White card base.
2. Stamp sentiment to the left side of the Daffodil Delight strip with black ink.
3. Punch the right side with the Banner Triple punch.
4. Adhere Daffodil Delight to Basic Black Strip; trim banner ends.
5. Adhere banner to card with dimensionals.
6. Add Wink of Stella to the oranges.
7. Add small rhinestones to the middle of the flowers.
8. Add Daffodil Delight Glitter Enamel Dots to the banner.
