Pocketful of Sunshine

When I first saw this bundle, the creative juices just started turning!  The set includes some little dollar bill like pieces too.  I'm thinking of graduation and birthday cards!

The card today can be for whatever you would like.  Maybe a friend helped you out - maybe a stranger helped you out!  Give that card away so the know they dazzle you.

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets –Pocketful of Sunshine 143719
• Card Stock –Thick Whisper White (140272); Crushed Curry (131199); Dapper Denim (141414)
• Stamp Pads – Dapper Denim (141394); Memento (132708); Versa Mark (102283)
• Misc.- Big Shot (143263) Pocket Framelits (143750); Embossing Buddy (103083); Heat Tool (129053); Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder (109131); Stamping Sponges (141337); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements: 

• Thick Whisper White:  4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" and 1" x 1" for pocket tab
• Crushed Curry: 3-1/4" x 5 and 3" x 1-1/2" for sun glasses
• Dapper Denim: 3" x 4-3/4" and 3-1/2" x 3" for pocket

Instructions:

1. Stamp pocket and pocket stitching in Dapper Denim ink on the smaller piece of Dapper Denim card stock and cut out with the Big Shot and Pocket Framelits.
2. Sponge around edges and on the surface of pocket and larger Dapper Denim piece to give a worn denim look.
3. Rub Embossing Buddy over the pocket and stamp "you dazzle me" in VersaMark ink.
4. Heat emboss with the Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool.
5. Stamp "for you" in Dapper denim ink on the small piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  Tuck the edge of this under the side of the pocket and attach with Snail Adhesive.
6. Bedazzle the pocket with Rhinestone Basic Jewels just above the "stitched line"
7. Fold the Thick Whisper White cardstock in half for the card base.
8. Attach the large Dapper Denim piece of cardstock to the large Crushed Curry piece of cardstock with Snail Adhesive.
9. Attach these layers to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
10. Attach the pocket to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals
11. Stamp the sunglasses in Memento ink on the smaller of the Crushed Curry pieces of cardstock.  Cut out with the Big Shot and Pocket Framelits.
12. Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to each side of the sunglasses.
13. Attach the glasses to the pocket with Stampin' Dimensionals by tucking one side of the sunglasses behind the pocket.

Instructions:

1. Stamp HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake layer as shown.
2. Punch the ends of the Designer Series Paper strips with Banner Triple Punch and adhere to card front.
3. Wrap Baker's Twine around Crumb Cake layer three times - tie in a knot.
4. Stamp hat image in Emerald Envy ink on Whisper White scrap and cut out with Paper Snips.
5. Adhere hat to card front with dimensionals.

Instructions:

1. Create a medium gift bag following the instructions on the Gift Bag Punch Board. Stamp “Special Delivery” in crumb cake on the bag before assembling (use Tear & Tape).
2. Punch the ends of the strip of DSP with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. (Optional, score at 5” and 7” after punching ends). Wrap around bag and tie top with Powder Pink ribbon
3. Cut out Cupcake Girl DSP and white card stock using Framelits.
4. Stamp “Birthday Greetings” in lower left corner of oval and adhere the Cupcake Girl to the right side of the Stitched Oval.
5. Attach tag to front of bag with Tear & Tape.

Let's keep going with the Christmas in July theme!  

It's really a great time to create Christmas cards.  

Why?  

Well, after hanging out in the hot sun, playing at the beach, playing with the kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, gardening, and whatever else you do outside, you need to cool off and recover.  And create Christmas cards!

Think cool thoughts with this card!

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets – Flurry of Wishes (139732)
• Card Stock – Whisper White (100730); Marina Mist (119682); Dapper Denim(141414)
• Stamp Pads –Marina Mist (126962); Dapper Denim (141394)
• Misc. – Clear Faceted Gems (144142); Stampin Sponges (141337); Layering Squares Framelits (141708); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144219);  Big Shot (143263); Washi tape of your choice

Measurements:

• Dapper Denim:  5½” x 8½”  Score and fold in half
• Marina Mist:  5¼” x 4”
• Whisper White:  5” x 3¾”
• Scrap cardstock:  5” x 3¾” to cut out square framelit

Instructions:

1. Using #6 Label framelit, center it on the scrap of card stock and cut out.  Discard the label.  You are only using the outer frame.
2. Layer the cut out frame( 5” x 3 3/4”) on the 5” x 3 3/4” whisper white and secure with washi tape to hold in place. Use washi tape to block off the rounded edges on both ends of this stencil to make the shape a rectangle.
3. Using your Stampin sponge, lightly apply Marina Mist ink to the inside of your masked off piece.  Then apply Dapper Denim ink to outer edges.
4. Remove the (stencil) being careful not to tear your whisper white card stock.
5. Stamp the Snowflakes in Dapper Denim partially  on the rectangle and on the whisper white.
6. Adhere the Whisper White to the Marina Mist and then to the folded Dapper Denim
7. Add Rhinestones to the 2 smaller snowflakes and a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the larger snowflake.
8. Stamp sentiment at the bottom
